The National Space Grant Office is seeking applications from graduate students across the nation and will sponsor up to ten students to attend the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) Institute on Teaching and Mentoring Conference that will be held in Arlington, Virginia on October 25-28, 2018.
The Institute on Teaching and Mentoring is the largest gathering of underrepresented minority Ph.D. scholars in the country. This powerful annual conference unites minority and underrepresented scholars, mentors, and faculty members from over 40 states and more than 230 institutions for four days of connecting, teaching, mentoring, knowledge and skill development, and opportunities.
Eligibility: Historically underrepresented and underserved graduate students in STEM and students from U.S. Department of Education identified MISs.
