What was your favorite thing about participating in this program? The freedom that the scholarship allowed. Meaning I thought it was beneficial that I created my schedule with my research advisor without heavy outside influence.
How has this program prepared you for more advanced studies? It made me more responsible for my learning by proving the benefits of pursuing all educational opportunities.
What achievements and/or successes have resulted from your participation in the program that you would not have had otherwise? My participation in this program has made me a more competitive applicant for graduate school. Without which, I could have not been accepted into my first choice graduate school.
What would you tell others who are thinking about applying for this program? To absolutely apply. And be prepared to work extremely hard and to be rewarded for that hard work.
