Sierra worked with the Advanced Rotorcraft Aeromechanics division at NASA Ames Research Center, she studied both the theoretical and experimental nature of rotorcraft. Including the development and use of computational models to predict the behavior of rotorcraft, in addition to the validation and further investigation of the models.
