NASA’s Career Day: Virtual Participation
Registration Deadline: Thursday, September 4, 2025 (Registration is limited)
Event Dates: Monday – Friday, September 15-19, 2025
NASA has big plans for exploration of the Moon, Mars, and beyond; and we’ll need today’s students no matter where they are starting from. Whether you’re aiming for a four-year degree, a two-year community college program, or pursuing hands-on technical training, there is a place in space for you!
NASA is calling for bright minds at every level-engineers, technicians, designers, and innovators. From classrooms to workshops to labs, each educational path leads to exciting careers that help NASA reach new heights. Whether you’re interested in designing cutting-edge spacecraft, maintaining advanced technology, or leading the way in aviation, they will guide you toward the right path. To help connect students to the variety of career options at NASA, the agency’s Next Gen STEM project is hosting a Career Day virtual event on Thursday, Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. EDT. Participants will get the chance to engage directly with NASA employees and gain access to NASA resources. Throughout the entire week, students can take virtual tours of NASA facilities, learn about a variety of career options, or ask questions during Thursday’s Live panel sessions. Stay tuned for additional information on the Career Day panel topics and agenda.
Platform Registration: This event is open to formal and informal education organizations. The registration deadline is Thursday, September 4, 2025. Each educator must register in NASA STEM Gateway with their own email address and identify how many unique email logins they will need for their students. What is a unique login? A unique log-in allows a student to individually access the Interactive Platform during event week. Educators who register with their own, individual email address will have event-day and extended, on-demand access to presentations and NASA materials for up to two weeks.
