Welcome
The 2026 Nevada NASA Programs Statewide Meeting will be held on April 3, 2026, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas – Student Union (4505 S Maryland Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89154) in SU 208. Presentations and poster sessions will be held strictly in-person. We are currently holding registration for in-person attendees only. Please only register if you plan to attend in-person.
The Statewide Meeting will showcase both oral and poster presentations highlighting the latest research findings from Nevada NASA EPSCoR and Nevada NASA Space Grant funded projects, alongside an inspiring keynote address. The goal of this event is to share valuable research insights from across Nevada NASA, stimulate collaboration and meaningful discussions, and strategize for future initiatives and activities.
Attendees
Attendees will include all individuals who have received NASA research project awards from the Nevada NASA Space Grant and Nevada NASA EPSCoR in 2024-2025 as well as affiliates and advocates of the programs. All Nevada NASA project faculty and students, who are able, are expected to attend.
Registration is required. Please register by February 27, 2026.
Make sure to upload a completed NASA Media Release as part of your registration.

Parking at UNLV
Visitor Lot: Located at Maryland Parkway and Harmon Ave, this lot is designated for visitors.
To utilize visitor/pay space parking, UNLV Parking & Transportation Services has partnered with PayByPhone, a third-party application that allows individuals to pay for visitor parking on campus.
Directions to the UNLV Student Union
From I-15 North or South (Las Vegas / Southern California):
Take Exit 36 or 37 for Tropicana Avenue and head east on Tropicana Ave.
Continue on Tropicana Ave past Las Vegas Blvd and McCarran Airport area.
Turn left (north) onto Maryland Parkway.
Continue north on Maryland Parkway to Harmon Avenue.
Turn left (west) onto Harmon Avenue and follow signs for the UNLV campus and Student Union.
Turn left into the parking lot near the Student Union (Lot D). The Student Union will be directly ahead.
From Harry Reid International Airport:
Head north on University Center Drive (formerly Swenson Street).
Turn right onto Tropicana Ave (SR-593).
Turn left onto Maryland Parkway.
Follow Maryland Parkway north to Harmon Avenue.
Turn left onto Harmon Avenue and enter the campus toward the Student Union.
The Student Union is located in front of Lot D — park and walk to the main entrance.
From US-95 / I-515 (North Las Vegas / Henderson / Boulder City):
Take US-95 or I-515 South toward Las Vegas.
Continue to the Flamingo Road exit.
Turn left (east) onto Flamingo Road.
Turn right (south) onto Maryland Parkway.
Stay on Maryland Parkway until Harmon Avenue.
Turn left onto Harmon Avenue and follow signs onto campus to the Student Union entrance.
From I-215 (Henderson / Green Valley / Airport Connector):
Take I-215 W toward 215/NV-146 toward McCarran Airport.
Continue onto University Center Drive/Harmon Avenue.
Turn left onto Harmon Avenue as directed toward UNLV campus.
Follow signs for Student Union parking (Lot D) and walk to the Student Union entrance.

Student Poster Presentation
All students participating in research funded by the Nevada Space Grant are strongly encouraged to attend the annual meeting and provide a research poster presentation. A poster session will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, so that students may share their research with everyone in attendance. To participate in the poster session, please provide a headshot, an abstract, and a poster (for layout approval: size, logos, and acknowledgements) by Monday, March 23, 2026.
If poster layout is not up to guidelines – poster will be sent back to student for corrections. If final poster is not approved, student will not be able to present at the meeting
Poster Session Eligibility: Students currently enrolled within a Nevada institution of higher education are eligible to participate in the poster session. All participants may submit posters for our website; however, only in-person attendees will participate in the poster session.
